BOOK1 Design Hostel offers a unique hostel experience that challenges the notion of a typical hostel and raises the bar for the hostel category altogether. The former main library in Aarhus next to the recreational park, Mølleparken, has been transformed into a unique design hostel with a view to the iconic rainbow at ARoS. As a guest, you will meet a cool lobby bar, sauna, 14 lane minigolf and be able to have breakfast in an interesting food court. You stay in either shared bunk dorms or pod dorms, known from luxury capsule hotels in Japan, or in private doubles or private hostel suites. BOOK1 Design Hostel is a place to be ‘private together’. If you stay in a bunk dorm or pod dorm, you create a private zone by pulling a curtain to the side of the bed. Contrastingly, if you are looking for social life and a vibrant atmosphere, the lounge area, social different social areas and the lobby bar are perfect places to seek to. There is a lively feeling and cool events planned throughout the year. The food court is where you find the organic breakfast ‘Good Morning. It’s Organic!’ and for your evening cravings, we are serving up traditional street food classics - with a gourmet twist! Every dish is a true masterpiece from crispy sandwiches to authentic Japanese Katsu Sandos, and tasty fries - all prepped by our chef, who used to do food magic in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Just saying. We’re open Tuesday to Saturday from 17.00-22.00. With unique interior designs and custom-made furniture that match the building’s original architecture and elements, BOOK1 Design Hostel offers a unique design experience for both locals and overnight guests. BOOK1 Design Hostel is in the centre of Aarhus next to the ARoS art museum, gastronomic taste sensations, vibrant city life and a host of experiences just around the corner.
