Positive Reviews
positive:
Fridge is convenient
Guests at this bed and breakfast have use of a fridge in their room, and a number of people have thought this was a nice touch simply because of the convenience it brings. Not many bed and breakfasts do this, so it is definitely a plus point.
positive:
Short walk from the seafront
The seafront is only a short walk away, with guests being
only two minutes away from the amusement arcades and the beach. The Sea Life
Centre attraction is a similar walk away, too,
positive:
Breakfast is delicious
Any self-respecting British bed and breakfast has got to offer up a decent cooked breakfast, and this establishment is no different. Guests have only got good things to say about it, so you can expect a delicious start to the day if you stay here.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Breakfast is not free
There is one negative point about the breakfast - it is not included in the cost of the room. Some guests have thought the owners could have advertised this fact a little better, for the sake of transparency.
negative:
Parking can be tricky
On the one hand, car parking is free on nearby streets so that is good. However, guests have said that at busy times it is actually quite difficult to find a space. You could end up parking several streets away, something that not every car owner would feel comfortable doing.
negative:
Area a bit rundown
In common with many seaside towns, Great Yarmouth has its streets and areas that look a bit more rundown than the average. This bed and breakfast is said to be on a street in such an area, so your first impressions when you arrive might not necessarily be great. That said, the accommodation is well-rated in general so you should have a pleasant stay.
