Surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire, Peak District Spa is the ideal location for walking, cycling, fly fishing and virtually every outdoor pursuit you can think of. Our rooms occupy some picturesque stone-built stable buildings that have been completely re-built in a contemporary style behind the Prancing Pony Inn with their own parking in the cobbled yard immediately outside, and gardens overlooking views over Eaton Dale. Cyclists benefit from a covered, lockable cycle store, air pump and tool station - with the Tissington Trail cycle way about 100 metres from our main entrance. Public footpaths lead directly from our site into Dove Dale as well as Biggin, Eaton, Alsop & Mill Dale with a range of circular routes leading directly from the park. There is also a fantastic range of local attractions, arts festivals, well dressings and events in the picturesque towns and villages surrounding Peak District Spa including Chatsworth House, Alton Towers, L'Eroica bike festival, Y Not Pop festival, Chatsworth flower show & country Fair, Buxton Opera house & Arts festival etc many of which are open for much of the year.
