About Oldwalls Gower
The five-star Oldwalls Gower sits atop 50 breath-taking
acres of exquisite Welsh land. It is just five miles from Llangennith Beach.
Each luxurious, modern room features flat-screen television,
underfloor heating, and en-suite restroom facilities. Guests can also utilise
the complimentary Wi-Fi in their rooms, as well as a fridge.
The grounds feature private lakes which are ideal for
fishing, and there’s also a spot to play tennis onsite. Horseback riding,
walking, and cycling are also popular activities for the inn’s massive expanse
of land.
While some of the suites feature kitchens, there are plenty
of restaurants and pubs in the area, including The Greyhound Pub, a local
favourite which is just a short walk away.
Oldwalls Gower is located in the very heart of rural Gower,
and Rhossili Bay is just a short distance away.

positive:
Exclusive Hot Tub and Sauna
Should you choose to stay in the luxurious Rose Suite, you'll
have your own private hot tub and sauna. The hot tub boats an epic vista
overlooking the lake, so if you're planning a romantic getaway or simply want
to spoil yourself, this is not to be missed.
positive:
Exquisite Grounds
The grounds are beautiful, immense, and well-kept. It's no
wonder that this is such a popular wedding venue - the photo ops are
incredible.

Friendly Staff
Everyone at Oldwalls will go out of their way to make sure
you have a pleasant experience during your stay.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Strange Beds
Guests have found that what Oldwalls Gower considers to be a
double bed is really just two singles pushed together. Should you arrange to
stay in a room with this set up, you may find that this makes for a rather
uncomfortable sleeping experience.
negative:
Lack of Dining Options Onsite
While there is plenty to do in terms of outdoor fun at
Oldwalls, some guests wish that there was a restaurant or café onsite so that they
could enjoy a meal directly in the hotel. While The Greyhound Pub is just
around the corner, you may not feel like taking the walk there (or elsewhere)
every time you want a meal.
negative:
Little Details Overlooked
Overall, Oldwalls makes for a wonderful experience. With
that being said, some guests have found that there is a certain attention to
detail that seems to be lacking. From light bulbs that need replacing to dirty
cups in the cupboard and missing remote batteries, these little things start to
take away from the five-star experience when added up.
