Maison Iris is a charming former 19th century winery house in Villeneuve-le-Montréal. It is located at the entrance of a small medieval village. It's nice large garden and it's pool area invite guests to a calm and peaceful stay. Carcassonne, Limoux and Castelnaudary are 20 minutes by car. Maison Iris is ideal for making sightseeing trips to lots of different attractions in the area as the famous Cathar castles, medieval abbeys and charming old villages and of course tasting the famous Malepère wines in the various wineries. Walking trips can be started directly from the house. The generous breakfast is included in the price and is served in the garden under the old chestnut tree or on the summer terrace. The large mediterranean garden and the pool area offer lots of relaxation. In the evening a typical regional home cooked meal can be ordered on request.
