Holly-Wood Guest House is a 4-star award winning, family-run guest house in a quiet residential street in Windermere. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with free biodegradable toiletries. a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities with fair trade items. High quality Egyptian cotton bedding and soft cotton snuggly towels. Breakfast is served in our spacious dining room. Guests can choose from various items, including cereals, yogurts, fruits, toast, and locally made and freshly cooked items such as hand made sausages and black pudding, as well as our home made marmalade, breads and cakes we also have free range eggs from the local farm for our breakfasts. Windermere centre is a 5-minute walk away and Windermere Rail Station can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. Ambleside is 20 to 25 minutes’ drive and Lake Windermere is a 15 minute walk down the hill to the Lake shore, where you can take one of the boat trips both up and down the lake, or just relax and enjoy your time.
