About Cullintra House
A countryside retreat in the heart of Co Kilkenny, Ireland – surrounded by acres of woodland, farmland and secret places to explore, Cullintra House offers guests a unique accommodation experience. The house is furnished with your host's artistic style to the fore – each room has unique pieces of furniture or bespoke decorative touches that make Cullintra House a special find in Co Kilkenny. All guests partake in a delicious dinner each evening in the dining room where many friendships have been formed. Visitors can bring their pets by arrangement. There are many lovely walks on the farm and to the ancient cairn which is a place of worship and a burial chamber dating back 4000 to 5000 years (pictures on this site).There are many lovely villages and cities within easy reach in the surrounding area. A guide with great knowledge of the surrounding area and counties who also is a great historian and family genealogist can be employed for a reasonable cost and can take you out for the day or days, just ask Patricia when you phone to make the reservation. Patricia is well travelled and has a great knowledge of things to do in the whole of Ireland and great at designing trips.
